United Global Threads was built on a simple conviction: useful things shouldn’t end up in landfills, and the people who need them shouldn’t go without.
Our Mission

Global Needs, Local Solutions.

We operate a network of professionally maintained collection bins across the St. Louis region, accepting clothing, shoes, household textiles, books, toys, small appliances and sporting goods.
Everything we collect is sorted at our local facility and routed through three primary channels: wholesale export to international resale markets, dedicated recycling pipelines for items past reuse, and private domestic sales. As a for-profit commercial operation, every truckload sustains the work — including our ability to host bins at no cost to property owners.
We’re grateful to do this work in a city we love, with partners who believe — like we do — that there’s a smarter way to handle what gets left behind.
